"I had a great experience with Rob at ProTech Guitar Setup. His location is easy to find, scheduling online is simple, and he’s professional and punctual from start to finish. What really stood out to me is how fair and transparent he is with pricing—no nickel-and-diming like you get at some other places.
You can tell Rob truly has a genuine passion for guitar modifications and repairs and for helping other musicians. He’s one of those people who clearly loves what he does and probably never feels like he’s “working” a day in his life. The quality of his work speaks for itself, and his turnaround times are very reasonable—fast enough to get you back to playing without sacrificing attention to detail.
So glad I found him, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for honest, high-quality guitar modifications or repairs."

"After nearly a year of rest, I picked up my bass guitar only to see and hear that it was not quite right. I contacted ProTech Guitar Setups and they immediately got back to me. I dropped it off and it was fixed in no time. While Rob said it was "stage ready", I am not that skilled but the work they did was very professional and high quality at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to friends and to members of my favorite bands! Thank you for getting me back to jamming to my favorite songs! "

5
Fret Leveling & Re-Crowning - Starting at $150
Over time, frets can develop uneven wear that affects playability, causes buzzing, or makes your guitar feel harder to play. A fret level and re-crown restores the frets to an even height, reshapes them for proper intonation, and polishes them for smooth playability.
This service improves sustain, clarity, and overall feel — extending the life of your frets and giving your guitar a professional playing surface again.
